Lesson 32: Let's for -u ending verbs

Here is some vocabulary you will need for this lesson:

良かったら
よかったら
If it's okay with you...

はなし
story, the things someone is saying

--------------------------

To change -u ending verbs to the "Let's" form, add -ou to the consonant before the final -u. In the case of hana(su) and ki(ku), it looks like this in Japanese:

 す → そう
 く → こう

話す → 話そう
はなす → はなそう

聞く → 聞こう
きく → きこう

--------------------------

Examples:

良かったら話しましょう。
よかったら はなしましょう。
If it's okay with you, let's talk.

彼の話を聞きましょう。
かれ の はなし を ききましょう。
Let's listen to his story.
