In this lesson, we will learn how to say the sentence patterns below:

Can I . . . ?
May I . . . ?
Is it okay if I . . . ?
Do you mind if I . . . ?

To ask this kind of question we use the verb ~te 「て」 ending plus ii　「良い」.
Note: 良い can be written as both よい and いい in hiragana. It is pronounced as　いい.
