The word 「へ」when used as a particle is not pronounced "he", but is pronounced as "e", exactly the same as 「え」.
We use 「へ」to emphasize that we are starting out on a journey to a particular destination. On the other hand, 「に」emphasizes arriving at an object or destination. A good way to think of 「へ」is to think of the words "heading over to", which emphasizes the beginning of a journey.
Here are some examples of 「へ」:
明日は学校へ行きます。
あした は がっこう へ いきます。
I am going to go to school tomorrow.
今から友達の家へ行きます。
いま から ともだち の いえ に いきます。
I am going to go to my friend's house now.
山の頂上へ向かっています。
やま の ちょうじょう へ むかっています。
I am heading to the top of the mountains.
公園へ行こうか?
こうえん へ いこう か?
Shall we head over to the park?
昼にここへ来る?
ひる に ここ へ くる?
Will you come here in the afternoon?
